Theatre

Diana Stein’s theatre work is a universe of its own—where the timeless meets the audacious, and every production is a spellbinding exploration of narrative, emotion, and visual artistry. As a director, performer, and scenographer, Diana crafts theatrical worlds that mesmerize and provoke, inviting audiences into spaces where storytelling transcends the expected.

With a repertoire that bridges national theatres and independent ventures, Diana’s productions are marked by their intensity, elegance, and a touch of mischief. From the evocative, intimate setting of Farewell Cabaret—where she also performed onstage—to the sweeping drama of classic and original works such as Hedda Gabler or Partners in Crime, she transforms the stage into a canvas of bold expression and magnetic detail.

Her commitment to theatre extends beyond the stage. Diana has led innovative educational projects that explore the intersection of literature, psychology, and performance, and her work with international arts organizations like ETC and IETM has fostered cultural exchange and artistic dialogue. Whether developing site-specific performances or directing national productions, her approach consistently pushes boundaries while embracing the collaborative heart of theatre.
